Software Engineer - Winter Intern

About the Role Rubrik is looking for a Software Engineer Intern to join its engineering team in Bangalore. The internship provides an opportunity to take ownership of real software projects and work on challenging engineering problems. Rubrik believes in giving engineers responsibility rather than simply assigning tasks. Interns can work on projects that match their interests while gaining practical experience building and operating production software. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software. • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables using technical expertise. • Identify and solve bottlenecks within the software stack. About Rubrik Rubrik is a Security and AI Operations company working at the intersection of data protection, cyber resilience, and enterprise AI. Its Rubrik Security Cloud platform helps organizations secure, monitor, and recover data, identities, and workloads across cloud environments. The company also develops solutions for securing and accelerating AI transformation, including capabilities for monitoring AI agents, enforcing guardrails, and improving the reliability of agentic systems.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science or a related field. • Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages such as Java, C, C++, Scala, or Python. • CGPA of 8.0 or above. • 2027 graduates only. • Students from circuital branches only. • Must be available for an onsite internship in Bangalore from January 2027 through May 2027. • Remote internship options are not available. • Strong self-motivation and ability to manage work independently. • Drive to solve challenging technical problems and contribute to high-quality software.
