Software Engineer - Cloud: Azure

Rubrik is looking for a Software Engineer to develop and maintain cloud-based software systems. The role involves distributed systems, cloud technologies, software design, testing, deployment, and ongoing product improvements.

Engineers will work on challenging technical problems, manage project priorities, and collaborate with team members to build reliable and scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications.

Build software using distributed systems and cloud computing concepts.

Develop reliable and scalable cloud-native solutions.

Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

Follow software development lifecycle practices and engineering principles.

Troubleshoot issues and improve software quality and performance.

Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

0–2 years of relevant work experience.

Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Go, Java, C, C++, Scala, or Python.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, design patterns, and software engineering principles.

Good communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.

Knowledge of Docker and container technologies.

Familiarity with Kubernetes and microservice architectures.

Understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native application development.
