Application Support Engineer (.NET) – IIS / Windows / SQL

RekNomics is hiring an Application Support Engineer to support and maintain web applications and application environments running on Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server, and .NET technologies. Responsibilities: - Support and troubleshoot web applications, APIs, and application environments. - Deploy, configure, upgrade, and maintain applications hosted on IIS. - Support .NET application deployments and upgrades. - Troubleshoot IIS, SQL Server, connectivity, and production issues. - Manage application releases, patches, fixes, and service requests. - Troubleshoot SSL certificates, DNS, ports, and network connectivity issues. - Assist with security hardening and vulnerability remediation. - Analyze logs and identify root causes of production issues. - Coordinate with internal teams and customers to resolve technical issues. - Ensure incidents are resolved within agreed SLAs. - Provide occasional onsite and after-hours support when required.

Must Have: - 2+ years of experience in Application Support or Production Support. - Hands-on experience with Windows Server and IIS. - Experience supporting .NET applications. - Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Knowledge of SSL, DNS, networking, and connectivity troubleshooting. - Understanding of server/application security and vulnerability remediation. - Basic SQL scripting knowledge. - Good communication and customer-handling skills. Nice to Have: - Experience with APIs and web applications. - Exposure to SQL clustering or log shipping. - Exposure to DevOps practices. - Familiarity with mobile application/platform support.
