Web Accessibility Engineer

Apple is hiring a Web Accessibility Engineer for its Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) Accessibility Center of Excellence. The role focuses on evaluating web applications for accessibility, documenting findings, identifying root causes, and recommending actionable improvements under the guidance of senior team members.

The engineer will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle to help build inclusive digital experiences. Responsibilities also include contributing to accessibility training materials, tooling, and standards while developing expertise in accessibility consulting.

Required skills and qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ability to debug unfamiliar code and trace issues to their root cause using browser developer tools.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field, or equivalent practical experience.
