Extract PDF Pages - Pick the Pages You Want to Keep

Pick the pages you want and download them as one new PDF, in order.

Add a PDF

Extract pages

Add a PDF to see every page as a thumbnail, then pick the ones to keep. The result is always one new PDF, in document order. Nothing is uploaded — it is written in this tab.

About Extract PDF Pages

This Extract PDF Pages tool takes one PDF and gives you a single new PDF containing only the pages you chose. Select pages by clicking the thumbnails or by typing a range like 1-3, 7, 12- and the two stay in step with each other, with Odd, Even, Invert, All and None buttons to speed up common picks. The selected pages always come out in document order, no matter what order you clicked them in, and the tool always shows how many pages are selected before you run it. The surviving pages keep their own rotation, and the whole thing is written with pdf-lib on your own device, so the file never leaves the tab. If you need several separate files instead of one, that is a job for Split PDF, not this tool.

Privacy

Page extraction runs in your browser using JavaScript. Your PDF is never uploaded to a server, nothing is logged, and closing the tab discards it.

Frequently asked questions

Yes, this Extract PDF Pages tool is 100% free with no hidden charges, no signup required, no watermarks, and no usage limits.
Absolutely. The new document is built directly in your browser using JavaScript. Your file is never uploaded to any server, so nothing leaves your device.
Click a page thumbnail to select it, Shift-click for a run of pages, or Ctrl-click (Cmd-click on a Mac) to add single pages. You can also type a range like 1-3, 7, 12- in the pages box, or use the Odd, Even, Invert, All and None buttons. The grid and the box always agree.
Extract PDF Pages always gives you one new PDF containing the pages you picked. Split PDF is the tool for cutting a document into several separate files at once, downloaded together as a zip. If you want a single trimmed PDF, use this tool; if you want multiple output files, use Split PDF.
Always document order. If you click page 5 before page 1, the output still has page 1 first, then page 5, matching the order the pages had in the original file.
Nothing is written. The Extract pages button stays disabled and the panel tells you no pages are selected, so you can never end up with an empty PDF.
No. The selected pages are copied across whole, keeping their text, images, links and their own rotation. A page that was sideways in the original is still sideways in the result.
No. A password protected PDF has to be unlocked first. The tool says so plainly when you drop one in, rather than failing silently.
