UI Engineer

About the Role Proofpoint is looking for a skilled and passionate ReactJS Developer to join its engineering team. In this role, you will develop user-facing web applications, build reusable components, and optimize applications for performance across different devices and browsers. You will work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers to create scalable, reliable, and high-quality web applications. Key Responsibilities • Develop responsive and high-performance web applications using ReactJS. • Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use. • Translate UI/UX designs into functional and interactive applications. • Optimize components for maximum performance across browsers and devices. • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate REST APIs and third-party services. • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code. • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting. • Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies and best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • Hands-on experience with ReactJS and modern front-end development. • Experience with TypeScript. • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming. • Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. • Experience with Git and version control systems. • Good understanding of React component lifecycle, hooks, and React architecture.
