Technical Support Representative

Mouser Electronics is an electronic components distributor serving engineers, designers, and manufacturers with semiconductor, electronic, and embedded technology products from leading manufacturers. About the Role The Technical Support Representative will provide technical assistance to customers, help them understand technical specifications and navigate Mouser's website, and support troubleshooting of PCB assemblies and electronic components. The role also involves supplier training seminars and trade shows, with willingness to travel required. Responsibilities • Provide technical support and assistance to customers. • Understand and interpret technical specifications for semiconductor, electromechanical, interconnect, embedded, and optoelectronic components. • Use block diagrams and schematics to analyze technical requirements. • Use test equipment and test procedures to analyze and troubleshoot PCB assemblies. • Apply circuit theory, analysis, and design principles to technical problems. • Teach customers how to navigate and use Mouser's website. • Participate in supplier training seminars and trade shows. • Travel as required for supplier training and trade events.

Required Skills • Proficient typing, writing, and math skills. • Professional verbal and written communication in English. • Additional languages are a plus. • Understanding of technical specifications for semiconductor, electromechanical, interconnect, embedded products, and optoelectronic components. • Proficiency using block diagrams and schematics. • Ability to use test equipment and test procedures to analyze and troubleshoot PCB assemblies. • Proficiency in basic circuit theory, analysis, and design. • Ability to teach customers to navigate Mouser's website. • Willingness to travel for supplier training seminars and trade shows.
