Technical Lead - Fullstack

Juniper Square is hiring a Technical Lead - Fullstack to architect, design, and lead the development of scalable web applications, distributed systems, and cloud-native solutions. Responsibilities: - Lead the architecture and design of full-stack applications. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams. - Define coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure software quality. - Drive end-to-end delivery from architecture through deployment and maintenance. - Architect and build backend services using Python (FastAPI preferred) or Java. - Design and implement scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs. - Build microservices and asynchronous processing pipelines. - Develop modern frontend applications using ReactJS and TypeScript. - Design reusable UI components and scalable frontend architectures. - Deploy and optimize applications on AWS cloud infrastructure. - Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes. - Lead discussions on scalability, distributed systems, and cloud-native architecture. - Contribute to AI-powered product capabilities and intelligent system development. - Evaluate and integrate AI-driven features into existing products and workflows.

Must Have: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 8–10 years of software engineering experience. - At least 3+ years in a technical leadership role. - Strong expertise in Python (FastAPI preferred) or Java. - Strong experience with ReactJS and TypeScript. - Experience developing REST and GraphQL APIs. - Experience with asynchronous processing systems and microservices. - Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services. - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization. - Understanding of distributed systems and scalable architectures. - Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Nice to Have: - Experience building AI-powered applications or integrating AI capabilities. - Experience with event-driven systems such as Kafka, SNS/SQS. - Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation). - Experience with observability, monitoring, and cloud cost optimization. - Experience with LLMs, embeddings, semantic search, or RAG pipelines.
