Software Engineer

NatWest Group is hiring a Software Engineer to build and maintain secure, scalable, high-performance, customer-centric solutions. The role involves working in feature teams, collaborating with engineers, architects, and business analysts, and contributing across the complete software lifecycle—from requirements analysis and design to coding, testing, deployment, maintenance, and operations.

Required Skills

DevOps practices and cloud-to-on-premises/external-system integrations

Contact Centre technologies, especially

Amazon Connect / AWS Voice Technologies

Cisco

Designing and supporting voice-based cloud solutions

DevOps, testing, and Agile methodologies

Solving complex analytical and numerical problems

Software engineering, design, and architecture

Scalability, automation, virtualisation, optimisation, availability, and performance

Full software development lifecycle experience

Preferred / Additional Skills

Experience working with feature teams

Stakeholder collaboration across different seniority levels
