Software Engineer

Scoutit is hiring Software Engineers to build and maintain critical software systems in a fast-paced, quality-focused startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain critical software systems.
• Author software functional specifications and design documents.
• Understand complex systems and take ownership of key components.
• Design and implement scalable algorithms.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues in distributed computing environments.
• Perform peer reviews of specifications, designs, and code.
• Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Work with technologies including Java, Golang, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB, TimescaleDB, GCP Stackdriver, GCS, Cloud Composer, and AI Platform.
• Contribute as a collaborative team player across teams.
