Software Engineer

Copart is a global technology company and online vehicle auction platform serving buyers and sellers across more than 190 countries. As a Software Engineer, you will work with senior engineers to build and enhance web applications based on business priorities. The role focuses on developing clean, efficient, reusable software using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and related technologies. You will develop RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express, work with MariaDB databases and SQL queries, and gain practical exposure to microservices architecture. You will also follow modern software development practices using Git and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD. The role provides an opportunity to work in a Scrum environment, collaborate with experienced engineers, receive mentorship, and continuously develop your technical and problem-solving skills.
