Software Engineer II

Mastercard is seeking a Software Engineer II to develop scalable enterprise solutions using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, event-driven architectures, data platforms, and cloud-native technologies. The role focuses on building secure and reliable backend services, APIs, data integrations, and analytics solutions for Mastercard's Corporate Solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable microservices and APIs. - Develop Java and Spring Boot based backend services. - Build event-driven applications using Apache Kafka. - Develop and optimize Oracle database solutions using SQL and PL/SQL. - Perform data modeling and database performance tuning. - Build and maintain data pipelines, APIs, and integrations. - Support reporting and analytics platforms such as Power BI. - Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable enterprise applications. - Work with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud deployment platforms. - Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. - Participate in code reviews and Agile development activities. - Apply cloud-native and 12-factor application principles. - Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality. - Collaborate with product, analytics, business, and engineering teams.
