Software Engineer II

Mastercard is seeking a Software Engineer II to develop scalable enterprise solutions using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, event-driven architectures, data platforms, and cloud-native technologies.

The role focuses on building secure and reliable backend services, APIs, data integrations, and analytics solutions for Mastercard's Corporate Solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable microservices and APIs.
• Develop Java and Spring Boot based backend services.
• Build event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.
• Develop and optimize Oracle database solutions using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Perform data modeling and database performance tuning.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, APIs, and integrations.
• Support reporting and analytics platforms such as Power BI.
• Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable enterprise applications.
• Work with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud deployment platforms.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Participate in code reviews and Agile development activities.
• Apply cloud-native and 12-factor application principles.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
• Collaborate with product, analytics, business, and engineering teams.
