Software Engineer I - Salesforce

This role focuses on providing first-level operational and technical support for Salesforce and Lead-to-Order (L2O) business processes. The employee will handle support tickets, troubleshoot basic Salesforce issues, perform data loading and maintenance, verify data integrity, and assist with smoke and regression testing. Complex issues will be escalated to senior engineers while maintaining communication with business stakeholders.

Required Skills

0–2 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, QA, or related technology roles.

Basic knowledge of the Salesforce platform.

Familiarity with Salesforce data tools such as

Salesforce Data Loader

Salesforce Workbench

Import Wizard

Basic understanding of

Software Development Life Cycle

API testing concepts

Postman

Database fundamentals

Data integrity verification

Troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.

Good communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to manage support tickets and escalate complex issues.

Responsibilities

Resolve daily Salesforce and Lead-to-Order support tickets.

Troubleshoot basic user-reported Salesforce problems.

Perform data import, update, export, and upsert operations.

Manage basic user permissions and configuration updates.

Perform data cleanup and quality checks.

Assist with smoke testing and regression testing.

Participate in requirement-gathering and story-refinement sessions.

Document common issues and resolution procedures.

Identify and communicate defects, risks, and dependencies.

Preferred / Additional Skills

Experience with production support.

Familiarity with Salesforce configuration.

Knowledge of business operations and Lead-to-Order workflows.

Experience with QA documentation and defect tracking.
