Software Engineer I

Mastercard is hiring a Software Engineer I for its Transaction Stream team in Pune. The role focuses on end-to-end product validation and quality engineering for next-generation payment switching solutions. Responsibilities include unit, functional, and integration testing, building test automation, validating microservices and event-driven applications, supporting CI/CD practices, monitoring production issues, and collaborating with global business, architecture, development, and testing teams. The role also involves payment flows, ISO 8583/20022 protocols, cloud technologies, and Agile/SAFe practices.
