Software Engineer I

Talentd is hiring a Software Engineer I for Honeywell Technologies in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The role focuses on developing software using modern C++ and solving complex software engineering problems through strong programming, data structures, algorithms, and software design skills. The position involves developing and testing software, working with Agile/Scrum teams, debugging applications, and contributing to CI/CD and automated testing practices. Key Responsibilities: - Develop software using modern C++ (C++11/14/17 or newer). - Apply object-oriented design and software design patterns. - Work with data structures and algorithms to solve technical problems. - Develop software for embedded systems, industrial automation, or aerospace applications. - Work with multi-threading and memory management. - Use standard libraries such as STL and Boost. - Work with Linux or Unix-like operating systems. - Understand and work with network protocols such as TCP/IP and UDP. - Participate in automated testing and CI/CD activities. - Work in an Agile/Scrum development environment. - Use Git for source control. - Debug and troubleshoot software issues. - Participate in software development and engineering activities.
