Software Engineer, Full stack

NatWest Group is hiring an Associate-level Software Engineer to work within a feature team responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and eventually replacing software solutions. The role involves building secure, scalable, high-performance, customer-centric applications, scripts, and tools while collaborating with engineers, architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills

Background in software engineering, software design, and architecture

Experience with development and testing tools

Knowledge of bug-tracking tools and wikis

Experience with multiple programming languages or low-code toolsets

Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and related toolsets

Knowledge of Agile methodology

Strong analytical and numerical problem-solving ability

Experience implementing programming best practices
