Software Development Engineer in Test

Work with developers and senior SDETs to build and maintain automated tests that improve product reliability. The role focuses on writing code for API automation, expanding regression coverage, investigating CI/CD test failures, performing exploratory manual testing, documenting defects, managing test data and environments, and collaborating with development and product teams to identify and reduce quality risks

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

0–2 years of experience in software testing, test automation, or software development

Python preferred

Exposure to PyTest, Playwright, or Robot Framework

REST API concepts

HTTP methods

Status codes

JSON

Postman or Python requests

Git and basic branching workflows

Software testing fundamentals

Test case design

Defect lifecycle

Regression testing

Functional testing

Non-functional testing

Analytical and troubleshooting skills

Clear written and verbal communication

Willingness to learn and work under senior engineers

Preferred / Additional Skills

Hands-on experience with PyTest, Playwright, or Robot Framework

Playwright using TypeScript or Python bindings

CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Concourse, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
