Senior Software Engineer

About the Role The Senior Software Engineer role focuses on developing and optimizing gaming software using Unity3D and C#. The position involves gameplay programming, UI/UX implementation, animation systems, game state management, software architecture, performance optimization, testing, and debugging. Responsibilities • Develop gameplay features using Unity3D. • Implement UI/UX and animation systems. • Manage game states and gameplay systems. • Develop software using C# and object-oriented programming. • Apply software architecture and design patterns. • Optimize application and game performance. • Work with source control systems such as Git, Perforce, and SVN. • Contribute to automated testing and CI practices. • Debug and profile software performance. • Collaborate on gaming software development and technical solutions.

Required Skills • Strong hands-on Unity3D experience. • Gameplay programming experience. • UI/UX implementation experience. • Experience with animation systems. • Experience with game state management. • Strong C# proficiency. • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming. • Strong knowledge of software architecture and design patterns. • Knowledge of MVC, Observer Pattern, State Machine, and Dependency Injection. • Experience with Git, Perforce, or SVN. • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks. • Understanding of CI practices. • Strong debugging skills. • Strong performance profiling skills Preferred Skills • Experience developing for Electronic Gaming Machines (EGM) or Electronic Table Games (ETG). • Experience in other regulated gaming environments. • Knowledge of casino gaming systems. • Knowledge of progressive jackpots. • Experience with multiplayer game architecture. • Experience in regulated industries such as gaming, gambling, or financial services.
