Senior Developer

CGI is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to design and develop scalable microservices and event-driven backend systems for logistics and supply chain platforms. The role focuses on cloud-native application development, Kafka-based integrations, distributed architectures, REST API engineering, secure and resilient backend systems, Kubernetes deployments, CI/CD, monitoring, and observability. Position Details: - Job Title: Senior Backend Developer – Event Driven Logistics Services - Position: Lead Analyst - Experience: 10–12 Years - Employment Type: Full Time - Location: Bangalore, India - Shift Timing: 11:30 AM – 8:30 PM Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop scalable backend microservices using C# and .NET. - Build and maintain REST APIs following API-first principles. - Develop asynchronous integrations using Kafka. - Implement secure, resilient, and highly available backend systems. - Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and cross-functional teams. - Support observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting activities. - Participate in CI/CD and Kubernetes deployment practices. - Optimize application performance and reliability.
