Senior Data Engineer (DBT + AWS)

Quantiphi is hiring a Senior Data Engineer (DBT + AWS) to design, develop, and optimize scalable cloud-native data platforms on AWS. Responsibilities: - Design and develop large-scale AWS-based data engineering solutions. - Build high-performance batch and analytical data pipelines using DBT. - Work with AWS services to ensure reliability, scalability, and operational excellence. - Develop cloud-native data architectures and distributed data processing systems. - Optimize SQL queries and data transformation workflows. - Build and maintain data models for analytics and reporting. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions. - Ensure data quality, governance, and performance across platforms. - Implement best practices for cloud-based data engineering and automation. - Support and enhance enterprise data infrastructure initiatives.

Must Have: - 4–7 years of experience in Data Engineering. - 3+ years of hands-on experience building AWS Data Engineering solutions. - Strong experience with DBT (Data Build Tool). - Experience with AWS cloud services. - Strong SQL skills and query optimization expertise. - Experience with PySpark. - Knowledge of Apache Iceberg. - Experience designing scalable batch and streaming data pipelines. - Understanding of distributed data processing and cloud-native architectures. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Nice to Have: - Experience with AWS Glue. - Experience with Amazon Redshift. - Knowledge of Python-based data engineering workflows. - Experience building APIs and data services. - Exposure to modern data lakehouse architectures. - Experience working in enterprise-scale data platforms.
