Keka HR is seeking an SDET who is passionate about software quality and automation. The role involves working across UI, APIs, backend systems, and databases to build reliable automated tests and improve overall product quality. Key Responsibilities: - Understand product requirements and technical designs to identify quality risks and testing scenarios. - Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for UI and APIs. - Build reusable automation scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. - Work closely with developers and product teams to identify issues early. - Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and REST clients. - Perform database validation using SQL. - Identify, document, track, and validate defects through resolution. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. - Improve test coverage and automation efficiency. - Identify flaky tests, testing gaps, and repetitive manual processes. - Participate in performance and security testing initiatives where applicable. - Collaborate with engineering teams to improve software quality.
