LogAI is hiring a Junior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join its engineering team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of its AI-powered business automation platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts.
• Create and execute test plans for backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with software engineers to understand requirements and testing needs.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable test code.
• Participate in code reviews and quality assurance activities.
• Identify, document, and troubleshoot software defects.
• Perform functional, regression, and API testing.
• Support CI/CD and software delivery processes.
• Contribute to improving software quality and development practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure stable product releases.

Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong understanding of manual testing fundamentals.
• Knowledge of test case design and execution.
• Understanding of functional testing and regression testing.
• Experience or knowledge of defect logging and bug tracking.
• Basic understanding of software applications, APIs, and frontend/backend interactions.
• Exposure to at least one programming language such as Java or Python.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and methodical approach to testing.
• Interest in AI-driven products and software quality assurance.
