Mainframe Developer

Infosys is seeking a Mainframe Developer to work as part of its delivery team, supporting client requirements, quality assurance, issue resolution, solution delivery, and high-quality software development. The role focuses on Mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS, along with software design, architecture, testing, code reviews, unit testing, project estimation, Agile methodologies, debugging, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Interface with clients for quality assurance, issue resolution, and customer satisfaction. - Understand requirements and create and review technical designs. - Validate architecture and ensure high levels of service delivery. - Participate in project estimation and provide inputs for solution delivery. - Conduct code reviews and unit test plan reviews. - Guide teams in developing optimized and high-quality code deliverables. - Contribute to knowledge management and organizational processes. - Build efficient programs and systems. - Apply software quality assurance principles and SOLID design principles. - Work with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Troubleshoot and debug software issues. - Learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
