Junior Software Platform Engineer

MetLife is seeking a Junior Software Platform Engineer to develop, maintain, and support scalable software platforms and services.

The role focuses on Java, Spring Boot, Python, REST APIs, microservices architecture, API design, scalable systems, cloud technologies, database design, testing, CI/CD, production support, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable software applications and platform services.
• Design and develop REST APIs and microservices.

• Apply software design patterns and scalable architecture principles.
• Design and maintain databases and data access components.
