Junior Software Engineer (SDE I)

Discorder.tools is seeking energetic, driven, and quick-learning Software Engineers (SDE I) to join its product engineering team. The platform serves millions of Discord users, creators, moderators, and developers worldwide through browser-based utilities, AI-powered tools, and community-focused applications. Key Responsibilities: • Build fast, responsive, and intuitive web applications using React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS. • Develop backend services, APIs, and utility processing systems using Python and Node.js. • Integrate third-party APIs and optimize application performance. • Work on AI-powered text features and community tools. • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ship new features. • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code. • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions. • Help scale platform infrastructure as traffic grows. • Contribute across both frontend and backend development.

• 0-2 years of software development experience. • Strong personal projects, internships, or portfolio work. • Solid understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript. • Knowledge of Python and/or Node.js. • Strong computer science fundamentals. • Experience with React or Next.js. • Familiarity with REST APIs. • Understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills. • Ability to work in a startup environment.
