Frontend Developer

MathCo is hiring a Frontend Developer to build responsive and scalable web applications while collaborating with designers, product managers, QA engineers, and backend developers. Responsibilities: - Develop responsive user interfaces using React. - Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement high-fidelity design mockups. - Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness. - Consume and integrate RESTful APIs into frontend applications. - Work with backend engineers to integrate frontend and backend components. - Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers and QA engineers. - Write unit tests and conduct testing to ensure application reliability. - Debug and troubleshoot issues to deliver high-quality software. - Follow best practices for scalable and maintainable frontend architecture. Must Have: - 2–4 years of relevant frontend development experience. - Strong proficiency in React. - Experience building responsive user interfaces. - Knowledge of state management solutions such as Redux or Context API. - Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs. - Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills. - Understanding of software design patterns and scalable frontend architecture. - Experience with Git and version control systems. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Experience participating in code reviews and knowledge sharing. Nice to Have: - Understanding of code optimization and web security best practices (XSS, CSRF). - Strong understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms. - Experience with Webpack, Vite, or other modern build tools. - Familiarity with TypeScript. - Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress. - Creative and analytical mindset.
