Engineer - Database Administration

Marsh Tech is hiring an Engineer – Database Administration for its AMSI team in Gurugram. Depending on business requirements and candidate fit, selected candidates may work in infrastructure support, DevOps, database engineering or application support.

The role involves supporting infrastructure, applications and database operations, collaborating with stakeholders, adapting to changing priorities and working in a team environment. Candidates should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a willingness to learn.

Eligible candidates must be graduating in 2027 with a B.E., B.Tech or MCA in Computer Science or IT, achieve at least 80% in graduation or post-graduation as specified, and have no backlogs. Strong PL/SQL fundamentals, programming exposure, Git, cloud fundamentals and awareness of AI/ML and AI-assisted development are desirable. Selected candidates must complete required skill certifications and submit proof before joining.

Strong PL/SQL fundamentals. Exposure to any programming language. Basic software development lifecycle and Git/version-control knowledge. Practical experience through internships, projects or coding competitions. Basic AWS or Azure knowledge. Basic AI/ML concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks and LLMs Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or similar AI tools for coding and debugging. Awareness of AIOps, intelligent monitoring, automated incident response and predictive analytics. Responsible AI awareness, including data privacy, bias mitigation and ethical enterprise use. Analytical thinking, communication, teamwork and adaptability.
