AI Native Intern

Marsh is hiring an AI Native Intern for its in-house IT application development and support team, which serves the Insurance Broking and Employee Benefit businesses. The role involves developing, integrating, testing, and supporting AI-enabled solutions; using AI coding assistants and LLM APIs; designing effective prompts; validating AI outputs; and participating in the complete software delivery lifecycle.

The intern will also document technical decisions, apply software engineering and Agile/DevOps practices, and help improve business processes while ensuring AI solutions meet quality, security, privacy, and business requirements.

Required skills and qualifications

B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.

Minimum 60% aggregate in Graduation and Post Graduation, as stated in the posting.

Must graduate in 2027.

No active backlogs in any subject.

Hands-on exposure to at least one programming language:

Python

JavaScript

Java

C#

Or an equivalent language

Understanding of AI/ML and generative AI concepts, including LLM behaviour, prompting, retrieval, evaluation, limitations, and failure modes.

Working knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases.

At least one practical AI project, prototype, workflow, or use case beyond simply generating code.

Preferred / additional skills

Prompt engineering and iterative prompt improvement.

LLM fundamentals and responsible AI usage.

Reviewing and validating AI-generated code.

Awareness of prompt injection, data leakage, and compliance risks.

API development, front-end frameworks, server-side programming, and DevOps tools.

Critical thinking, analytical skills, adaptability, collaboration, and learning agility.

Ability to connect technical solutions to business objectives and ROI.

Willingness to work in a 24×7 shift environment when required.
