Data Center Technician

Oracle is hiring a Data Center Technician to support the reliable operation of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) data centers.

The role involves technical support, hardware maintenance, troubleshooting, break-fix repairs, network cabling, rack deployments, installation activities, and escalation management. The technician will maintain server and network equipment, prioritize support tickets, resolve blocking issues, and follow internal policies and service-level agreements.

Candidates should understand operating systems, hardware, networking fundamentals, hardware diagnosis and repair, and data center operations, including electrical and cooling infrastructure.

The role requires good spoken English, the ability to work independently and in a team, and participation in a shift rotation providing 24x7 data center site coverage.
