Associate Software Engineer

SLB is hiring an Associate Software Engineer for its India Technology Centre. The role involves developing new application features, enhancing existing applications, troubleshooting performance and service issues, collaborating with developers and DBAs, and delivering quality solutions through unit and integration testing.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or another relevant field

0–1 years of knowledge in

SDLC

SQL

Java and/or Python

Problem-solving

Strong proficiency in at least one scripting language:

PowerShell

Python

Shell scripting

Windows and Linux operating systems

SQL or NoSQL knowledge

Programming and software-development interest

Good English communication and presentation skills

Ability to work with global, distributed teams

Preferred / Additional Skills

Google Cloud or Azure knowledge

Angular

Node.js

Application performance troubleshooting

Willingness to travel within India and abroad

Flexibility for shifts, time-zone differences, and on-call work
