InterScripts is an ISO 27001, ISO 9001, CMMI Level 3 and SOC 2 certified organization. ## About the Role We are looking for an Associate Software Developer for an early-career opportunity in Hyderabad. This is a junior role for a developer with at least one year of professional experience who is ready to build, learn quickly and grow with a modern engineering team. You will write real code that ships to healthcare customers while working closely with senior developers and U.S.-based teams. The role includes mentorship, code reviews and opportunities to continuously develop your engineering skills. The team uses a modern full-stack technology stack and AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Desktop (Claude Code) and VS Code with Claude Code. ## Development & Delivery - Write, test and maintain clean, readable code for features and fixes under the guidance of senior engineers. - Build applications across the stack using technologies such as React, Node.js, Python, Angular, SQL and NoSQL databases. - Work with modern frameworks and technologies based on project requirements. - Use AI-assisted development tools to write, refactor and debug code efficiently. - Break down assigned tasks logically and apply strong problem-solving skills to convert requirements into working software. ## Collaboration & Learning - Collaborate with senior developers, mentors and U.S.-based teams during overlap hours. - Participate in stand-ups, technical discussions and code reviews. - Apply feedback from code reviews to improve engineering skills. - Continuously learn new frameworks, tools and healthcare domain knowledge. - Ask questions, share knowledge and contribute to a positive team environment. ## Quality & Deployment - Use GitHub for version control and follow team branching and review practices. - Support CI/CD workflows and deployments using Azure DevOps and Azure Portal services. - Troubleshoot issues and write tests. - Contribute to reliable software releases. - Follow secure coding practices required in healthcare IT environments. ## Work Schedule - Work Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India - Work Mode: Work From Office - Working Days: Monday to Friday - Remote Work: Not available - Shift Timing: 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM IST - Employment Type: Full-time ## Office Location InterScripts Software Pvt. ## Required Qualifications - Minimum 1 year of professional software development experience. - B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning or a similar software-related degree. - Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Desktop (Claude Code) or VS Code with Claude Code. - Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Strong willingness to learn and adapt. - Ability to work with modern frameworks and AI-powered development tools. ## Technical Skills Experience with some of the following technologies: - React - Node.js - Python - Angular - SQL - NoSQL - Azure DevOps - Azure Portal services - GitHub - CI/CD workflows - Modern software development technologies ## Good to Have - Experience across multiple areas of the technology stack. - Knowledge of frontend and backend development. - Familiarity with cloud concepts and Microsoft Azure deployments. - Experience with Azure DevOps. - Experience with Azure Portal services. - Familiarity with modern deployment workflows. - Personal projects, internships, hackathons or open-source contributions. - Interest in healthcare IT, data management, cybersecurity and mission-critical software systems. - Comfort experimenting with AI-assisted development workflows.
