Associate, Full Stack Developer

BlackRock is hiring an Associate Full Stack Developer for its Digital Platforms & Experiences team within the Global Marketing function in Mumbai. The team builds scalable, user-centric web, mobile, and digital experiences and is developing AI capabilities to improve client engagement.

The role involves developing frontend applications, using AI in daily development and testing, delivering features throughout the software development lifecycle, collaborating with global teams, improving development processes, following coding standards, supporting existing systems, and resolving operational issues. Candidates should have frontend framework experience, preferably Angular, with React considered a plus, along with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Git, Unix/Linux platform support, unit testing, Agile/Scrum practices, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

Experience supporting Unix/Linux platforms.

Experience with at least one frontend framework.

Angular preferred; React is a nice-to-have.

Core JavaScript knowledge.

Experience with a JavaScript library such as RxJS or NgRx.

HTML and CSS.

Writing clean, maintainable code.

Unit testing.

Distributed version control, ideally Git.

Understanding of Agile project management, especially Scrum.

Strong English communication, teamwork, and time management.

Willingness to work with global teams across time zones.

Application design and architecture.

Web and security standards.
