Associate Data & Ops Engineer

EXL is hiring an Associate Data & Ops Engineer for an entry-level cloud infrastructure support role. The position involves monitoring and troubleshooting Azure cloud resources, virtual machines, storage services, deployments, and system performance. The engineer will also work with SQL, virtualization, basic Terraform automation, technical documentation, and client/onshore team communication.

Required Skills

Cloud fundamentals and infrastructure concepts.

Basic hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including:

Azure Virtual Machines

Azure Blob Storage

Other basic Azure services

Working knowledge of SQL.

Understanding of virtualization concepts.

Basic knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.

Ability to work in a 24×7 rotational support environment.

Good analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

Linux.

Git and GitHub.

Docker.

Terraform exposure.

Azure certifications such as

AZ-900 — Microsoft Azure Fundamentals

AZ-104 — Microsoft Azure Administrator

Terraform certification.
