Associate Cloud Operations Engineer

Monitor and support Basware’s AWS-hosted SaaS production services. Responsibilities include monitoring production systems, identifying anomalies, performing first-level incident triage, troubleshooting application and server issues, escalating incidents according to standard operating procedures, preparing reports, monitoring customer invoice flows, and suggesting continuous improvements. The role requires coordination with cross-functional teams and flexibility to work rotational 24×7 shifts.

Required Skills

Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts.

AWS fundamentals preferred.

Basic Linux/Unix and Windows server administration and troubleshooting.

Basic database knowledge: MS SQL, Oracle, or MySQL.

Networking fundamentals.

Understanding of server functionality and production systems.

Incident monitoring, first-level triage, logging, and escalation.

Strong written and verbal English communication.

Proactive attitude, problem-solving, prioritization, and willingness to learn.

Willingness to work nights, weekends, public holidays, and rotational 24×7 shifts.
