Apprentice. IT. Development Program

Eaton is hiring an IT apprentice for its Master Data Management (MDM) team. The role offers hands-on exposure to modern data platforms, Snowflake, data architecture, Medallion Architecture, and Generative AI. The apprentice will support data engineering, SQL-based data transformations, data quality and governance, data pipelines, Streamlit applications, and GenAI prototypes for data-management automation.

Required skills

Basic SQL knowledge, including joins, aggregations, and transformations

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts

Understanding of data architecture fundamentals

Awareness of Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold)

Basic knowledge of or interest in Generative AI

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Communication and teamwork

Attention to detail and data accuracy

Time management, adaptability, and willingness to learn

Preferred / additional skills

Snowflake or another cloud data platform

ETL/ELT processes

Python or data integration tools

Data governance and data quality frameworks

APIs and data services

Certifications or coursework in Snowflake, Data Engineering, or AI/ML

Academic or project experience in data-related domains
