Apprentice – Financial Relief Program

American Express is hiring an Apprentice for its Financial Relief Program team. The role involves assisting Card Members facing financial hardship, understanding their circumstances, explaining suitable payment solutions, negotiating payment arrangements, resolving concerns, documenting customer interactions, and balancing customer needs with recovery, risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree

No more than 5 years between the highest degree completion date and joining date

Must not have enrolled in a prior Government Apprenticeship program

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Negotiation and judgment
