On 12 March 2026, I was working on one of my projects when an email notification appeared.
The subject line read:
“X Creator Revenue Sharing Paused.”
At first, I didn’t think much of it.
But within seconds, another email arrived.
This one said:
“Your X account has been suspended.”
And suddenly my mind went completely blank.
## The Panic Moment
That account wasn’t just another social media profile.
It represented three years of work.
Three years of:
- building connections
- sharing ideas
- writing posts
- growing an audience
And in a single moment, it felt like everything was gone.
I started thinking:
- Why did this happen?
- Did I break a rule?
- Will I ever get my account back?
My head was spinning.
I tried calling my girlfriend, but she was busy.
At that moment, I felt completely helpless.

## Trying to Fix the Situation
After some time, I managed to calm myself down.
I told myself:
“Panicking won’t help. Think about what to do next.”
Then I remembered a blog I had recently read on Medium by Kalash.
In that article, he mentioned someone who helped him recover his account after a suspension.
So I logged into another X account and started sending DMs.
I messaged several people and explained my situation.
Someone suggested reaching out to Finn_Nerd1.
So I sent him a message.
Thankfully, he replied.
He told me not to worry and that we could try to recover the account.
Getting the Account Back
The next few hours were extremely stressful.
But after almost three hours, something incredible happened.
My account was restored.
The suspension was removed.
I finally felt like I could breathe again.
The Shadowban Problem
Although the suspension was gone, my account was still restricted.
I couldn’t:
- post
- reply
- interact normally
It looked like my account was shadowbanned.
I asked several people for help but didn’t receive clear answers.
Even Grok suggested something simple:
Log out from all devices and avoid activity for some time.
So I followed that advice and stayed away from the account.
Two Days Later
On 14 March 2026, things finally returned to normal.
My account was working again.
Before the suspension, I had 5,656 followers.
After the incident, it dropped to 5,632.
The reach of my posts also took a hit.
But honestly, that didn’t matter much.
The most important thing was that I got the account back.

## Final Thoughts
This experience taught me something important.
When you build something online for years, it can disappear very quickly.

Platforms can suspend accounts without warning.
So it’s always important to:
- keep backups
- diversify platforms
- not rely entirely on one account
I’m grateful that I managed to recover mine.
