Software Engineer, I

Develop, test, maintain, and enhance software components for Zebra's products and systems. The role involves software development, testing, code reviews, documentation, root-cause analysis, performance/scalability improvements, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science or related engineering discipline 0–1 years relevant experience Data Structures & Algorithms System Design Clean, maintainable and optimized code Software development and testing AI/ML and intelligent system architecture exposure through projects, internships, or professional experience Cloud-based architectures, particularly GCP Containerized environments CI/CD Backend and modern frontend application interfaces SDLC Agile/Scrum Version control Debugging Comprehensive system testing Strong communication and collaboration Preferred / Additional Skills Practical AI/ML project or internship experience Experience with modern software frameworks Experience improving software performance and scalability Code-review experience Root-cause analysis Experience with external/customer stakeholders
