Accenture is hiring a Decision Science Associate to support the development of generative AI applications, analytics solutions, and AI-powered systems for clients. The role involves Python development, SQL, REST API integration, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), conversational AI, and agent workflows.

The associate will work with experienced practitioners, contribute to AI solution testing and validation, support Azure and/or AWS AI services, use Git for collaboration, and assist with documentation, troubleshooting, deployment, and enterprise security practices.

Required skills

Python programming.

SQL.

Generative AI fundamentals.

Prompt engineering.

APIs, including REST APIs.

JSON and software engineering practices.

Basic understanding of LLM applications, RAG, and AI assistants.

Exposure to Azure and/or AWS cloud services.

Hands-on experience or contributions in AI/ML, data science, software engineering, analytics, or related fields.

Educational qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant quantitative or engineering discipline, including:

Computer Science

Artificial Intelligence

Data Science

Statistics

Applied Mathematics

Engineering or a related field

Preferred / additional skills

LangChain, LangGraph, or similar GenAI frameworks.

Agentic AI, tool calling, and workflow orchestration.

Machine learning libraries: scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.

Vector databases, embeddings, and enterprise knowledge retrieval.

Git, Docker, CI/CD, and software development lifecycle practices.

Communication, analytical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving.

Main responsibilities

Support LLM-powered applications using prompts, APIs, and established frameworks.

Prepare, organize, and validate knowledge sources for RAG solutions.

Assist in building and testing conversational AI applications and agent workflows.

Test AI outputs using defined test cases and document improvement opportunities.

Work with Azure and/or AWS AI services under supervision.

Develop Python components and integrate APIs with enterprise systems.

Support source control, technical documentation, troubleshooting, and deployment.
